I have some portal pages I want to use https but I have others that must be http because of embedded content containing non-https content from non-https sources like embedded videos, etc.

I purposefully utilized External Page in my portal's Pages - Site Map thinking that I would explicitly control the protocol (http or https). It appears to me that the MonoXMenuSimple will rewrite the protocol (http, https) of the external page's URL based upon the protocol of the current page. Is that correct?

For example, I have two menu items
Page1 - external URL = http://mydomain.com/page1.aspx
Page2 - external URL = https://mydomnain.com/page2.aspx

If user navigates to Page2 the protocol is https as expected. Then the user navigates back to Page1 using the menu, the protocol of the hyperlink is https and not http as intended and the user navigates to page via https and receives unsecured content warning messages from the web browser.

Please advise if there is way to achieve the behavior I desire.

I have applied the update and now the Pages - external page links honor the explicit http and https in URL. Thank you.
