Please,
1) I just installed MonoX in a virtual directory of my domain, and I can see
the admin area when I log in  with my admin username.

2) When I register a new user, the data is in the database, but an "ERROR" is shown on the screen.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

1. The admin area is usually available for users only in admin role.
2. Can you post the monox logs here please. You can find them in MonoX\ApplicationData\Logs directory.

Regards,
Mario

Hi EleoWeb,
you probably don't have an SMTP server [properly] configured so you're getting an error while the activation mail is being sent so check your SMTP settings in app.config.

If you want to activate a user without the email, you can do so manually by checking the IsApproved checkbox in the user administration for that user.

Regards,
Vedran

Please Vedran, where can I find app.config? This will solve my second question.
But, what can I do for my first question: reach the admin area for a user in admin role?

Hi EleoWeb,

once you are logged in as an admin, you are able to visit admin area by clicking on "Go to the portal administration area" in header. Image attached,

Mail settings can be found in a web.config file, under mailSettings -> smtp.

Hi Imarusic!
The problem is that when i log in as admin, I don't see the header and "Go to the portal administration area" .
I tried all possibilities. The admin is registered in the database with "admin" role.

Hi,

did you make any code changes? Can you please send us a screenshot of a home page? Also, can you open this url (http://yourDomain/MonoX/Admin/Default.aspx)  once logged with admin credentials?
