Ariel,

we have start working on the standard user profile connection to MonoX user profile and it will available in next version (which will be online tomorrow). As for best practice which involves the additional table with custom user data, we will post the short tutorial on how to add custom user data to MonoX user profile, and provide you with the link here.

I hope one of the above solutions will help you.

Ariel,

a new version of MonoX is online and Asp.net profile is now connected to the MonoX user profile.

If you have decided to use the Asp.net profile you can uncomment the Asp.net profile section in the web.config (You have a simple property types example there) and see how that reflects to the MonoX user profile (It should show new fields under the existing ones).

Other approach mentioned in this post will be explained in a blog post soon (a tip to get you started until we write the blog tutorial: on the Profile Module you have templates that can include your custom fields. They are called "MainContentTemplate", "SideBarTemplate" and "FooterTemplate").
