Just wanted to update this thread with some info. After Denis took a look at my site (which is a much appreciated gesture, by the way; really, the support that Mono has and continues to provide on these forums is second-to-none), he found something that is a non-issue since it has already been corrected in the next release.

Thanks again to Denis, and to everyone else at Mono; the product out-of-the-box is very solid, and the support provided here is unbelievable.

btw, we were trying to change the default page by using "default document" of IIS (also maps to web.config setting), but seems "default.aspx" is mentioned in two points in web.config, there's also the URL rewriter for /
