HI
I placed my MonoX.lic in the bin-folder as described.

If I remove
<span class="copyright"><%= PageResources.PageFooter_Copyright%> &#169;2011 <a href="Mono'>http://www.mono-software.com">Mono Ltd.</a></span>
everything is fine.

But if I also remove
<a id="A1" runat="server" href="http://monox.mono-software.com" class="logo"><img id="Img1" runat="server" src="<%$ Code: MonoSoftware.MonoX.Paths.App_Themes.img.powered_by_png %>" style="width: 90px;" alt="Powered by MonoX" /></a>

there is a the "powered by MonoX"-Logo at the bottom of the site.

I found this post, but it does not work for me:

Is there anything wrong with the license? I´m wondering about this line:
  <Version>5.0.0.0</Version>

Do you have any ideas for me?

Thanks and cheers
Joerg

HI

no I can´t because "I never bought a license for any product" ;-))

I used the .lic send by mail from Denis Susac:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<!--License file for the MonoX portal framework. Copyright Mono Software Ltd. 2008-2009. More information: http://www.mono-software.com-->
<license>
  <Customer>Provent Hotels Gmbh</Customer>

Joerg
  <Version>5.0.0.0</Version>
  <Type>Commercial</Type>
  <ExpiresOn>12/31/2099</ExpiresOn>
  <Domains>
    <Domain>localhost</Domain>
    <Domain>soc.proventhotels.com</Domain>
    <Domain>www.soc.proventhotels.com</Domain>
  </Domains>

I double-checked your license and it looks correct (version tag just lists the highest version of MonoX license works with). It should work in all scenarios if the license file is put in the main /bin folder. The logic that displays the logo is very simple: the request URL should be contained within the lic file. I can generate a lic file that contains the IP address of your server, just to check if there is some kind of rewriting scheme that interferes with this logic.
Is there any way we could access your environment via teamviewer or something similar?
