how do I add the webpart to the login page, the webpart on the homepage works

Hello,

Login.aspx is just a demo page. It is recommended that you modify it to suit your needs.
You can add a web part zone to the existing login page or create a custom login page and change the references in web.config (search for "login.aspx").
