Bug: Activity feed showing unpublished blog posts info  (Mono Support )

I posted a blog post and made is unpublished so that it is not visible to public.

But my activity stream is still showing the information that I posted a blog post on topic "TOPIC NAME".

If the blog post is unpublished, website application should not post any information public about the unpublished blog post because there is a reason why the blog post was made unpublished originally.

any solution to this problem ? please fix this bug in newer versions of monox.

Hello Super,

We will look into a pointed problem. However, if you need quick fix, you will have to manually configure it in your database.

Hello,

The fastest way to fix that issue is to delete duplicate entry in SnEvent table.

Could you please provide the solution here ? As as a user we won't be getting the fix until next 2 release which can take some time. If you could please provide a quick fix, that would be appreciated !

Hi super

You could override "FormatEventText" in "Events" control and return something else.
With dependency injection coming in 5.1 changing core functionality will be much easier.

The bug exists for other situations too:

1) Unpublilshed blog posts shows in the activity feed (as mentioned above)

2) Unpublished blog post's tag also show up in the tag cloud even when blog post is not published

3) If a blog post is set to be published on a set date (in future), still activity feed shows that a user / admin posted a blog but if an author is posting a blog and setting it to be publish in future date, the activity feed defeats the purpose of making the post live ion future by putting it out that author posted the post just now.
