Please replace

<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">

to

<assemblyBinding appliesTo="v2.0.50727" xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">

in the <runtime> section of the web4.0.cfg in current and future releases..

(MonoX_4_0_2344_35\MonoX\Samples\Solution\)


could ya??

current version will error out on assembly version of the telerik web.ui....


I promise you..and this fixed it...

We will look into it right away. The next update will resolve other problems with .NET 4, most notably the PrecompiledApp config file behavior.

Thanks!! this was a good test for me..thats why I picked .net 4 and your MonoX..

I have not even looked at web dev in over 6 months...Serious illness, Unemployment, depression, I gave up and and at 40 decided to pull a career change, full blown 3D game developent!!

so thats what I did..12-20 hrs a day 7 days a week..massive!!!
But I need a web portal for all my games/assets/tutorials/fans, etc..

I have a dedicated IIS (win2003) server 2 active sql dbs, flash media server, etc...
Can I , in 1 day, install a working site of this complexity, in dot net 4.0 with social networking...

yes I can, and did!!..will send you my link when I udpate my css and art...another 2 days...

Note that we are putting together a new version, based on user feedback - it will be out this month. It is going to include a few new parts, support for OpenSocial, and a new API. Do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything.
