This is a great CMS system and I have have no real issues implementing it (great job guys).

I am just having a problem where if I use internet explorer on local host it will login
fine but remotely doesn't. If I try it with any other browser it works fine locally and remotely.

There is no proxy involved and the Site is running on port 80.

Has anyone experienced this? Or does anybody know the fix?

Any help would be great on this one.

I have MonoX installed on a few systems and never had a problem with any version of IE I tried..

I tried all the latest versions as well as a few old ones and never had a Issue.

Only thing I can think of is..

1. you have some add on installed that is interfering.
2. spyware.

Hi Patrick,
Are there any error messages? What happens when you click on the login button?

Thanks shawndg I have run IE with no add ons but still is not logging in...

Denis - There are no error messages and I have set IE into Debug mode displaying all errors
and I am getting nothing. After the clicking the login button it just returns you to the default page
but not logged in. With all other browsers it returns to the default page logged in, obviously the
work around for now is to use Firefox etc. but it would be great to have all browsers.

Still Puzzled!!

Hi,

can you send us a Fiddler session attached to a post so we can check if IE is properly requesting the Default page after the login process.

1. Start fiddler
2. Go to login page (unauthenticated)
3. Login with your credentials
4. Go to fiddler and save the whole session (if you are not authenticated after the login of course)
5. Send the session to us

Regards
