Hei,

Does MonoX, or is it in your road map, support noSQL database? I had MongoDB in mind, but I assume any noSQL is also OK.
If not:
- Is it planned to be supported?
- How difficult is it (product wise) to support noSQL?

Regards,
Espen

Hi Espen,
MonoX does not currently use MongoDB or an alternative noSQL database for its default functionality. Having said that, we did use MongoDB on several custom projects, as nothing is preventing you from using a technology of your choice for custom functionality.
The new generation of our products will use noSQL to a greater extent. However, we are still months away from the initial releases.

I think a better bet would be to support MySQL

Under the hood MonoX, in theory, can support MySQL via LLBLGen. So if a customer buy a LLBLGen license he can generate his code for MySQL and give it a try.
