Hi

I have discovered that if a user want´s to add firstname and last name to "My profil" and make it private, it is not saved. It returns to be publich when the profil is saved. So the profil name is changed to firstname + lastname, but the original profilname should be used at login.

An other small thing and just a thought: could it be a good idea to make it possible to add the year of birth maybe insted of the current year - but only as an option?

And one thing more: can you please tell me where to translate the words in the box?

Hi Helene,

I'll take a look at the First and Last name privacy issue that you have mentioned and get back to you tomorrow. DOB idea will be taken under the consideration and at the moment as I can see privacy level has a bug in the localization section so we will fix this issue and add localization ability to the box in the new release that should be online during this week.

To translate the words in the privacy box (when we fix the bug) you should go to database and take a look at the PrivacyLevel and related tables and do your translation there (Note: Don't do this in version less or equal to 4.0.2650.35 and 4.0.2650.40 it will break a few modules).

Hi Helene,

I have reviewed the DOB issue / suggestion you have mentioned and as I can see we are offering the DOB field as an option and we don't set any predefined date for this field. We have fixed the First and Last privacy visibility issue and this will be included in next release. I'll notify you when new release is available.

Hi Helene,

one more note about the lookup value localization (in your case Public, Private, Friend), please do not change the Abrv field value just Name field value.

Thank for your answer and sorry about the date thing - it was me who was a little too fast. I didn´t think of modifying the year after I choose the date from the callendar :(

And about the transelation I think I´ll wait til the new release - it seems too be a little uncertain for me to mess with that.

Hi,

I just want to point out that new version of MonoX (4.1.2741) is available for download. Now you can upgrade to new MonoX version to be able to localize the privacy level lookup values.
