We can't give you any specific dates, we will release the 4.8 version next week and then only thing that we are working on is 4.9.
I know its difficult to provide an exact date. but could you please give an approx idea when 4.9 will be released and when 5.0 will be released ?
I hope that we would release 5.0 not too long after the 4.9 because 5.0 will be only updated 4.9 which will contain Ninject based Dependency Injection on e.g. repositories, BLLs, various controls etc.
I would like to know how big is the gap between the release date for 4.9 and 5.0 in order to decide if I should wait for 5.0 or just use 4.9 ?
My suggestion to you right now would be to use 4.9 so you can build your product and not wait for 5.0. Why I'm suggestion this, I'm not sure if you have used DI before or not, but event if you did and we release the 5.0 you will have certain learning period that you will need in order to learn DI and practices used in MonoX so your product release would be pushed even further and I suppose that you don't want that.
