Hey there!

I am trying to set up a simple campaign with two banners. I have added the Ad web part to a page and enabled the campaign with valid dates but the banner won't show up. I have also tried setting the keywords within the web part, but nothing shows up. Am i missing anything?

When editing the campaign (after creating it) an error popped up:

System.IO.IOException: Source and destination path must be different at System.IO.Directory.Move...

I wanted to paste a screenshot but I cannot upload images here.

Thanks!

Ariel

Hi arielf,

- the campaign save error is fixed and will be available in next version (should be downloadable later today)
- On Ad item please check the following
- Weight - should be from 1 - 100
- Page / Language - you need to specify the page and language where you want your ad to show up

Can you please try above and get back to us.

Regards.

Hi khorvat!

Each ad has a weight of 99 and the page-language assigned, however, nothing shows up! Does the web part need any specific configuration or should it work with the default settings?

Hi Arielf,

Ad module web part should work by default, no additional configuration is needed. Is it possible for you to provide us with the public url where we can see the issue, and can you please provide us with the error logs here (error logs can be found here: "/MonoX/ApplicationData/Logs").

Regards.

Can you check a few more thing on the Campaign / Ad (We need to ask these questions just to be sure that everything is set properly):

- Did you set campaign to be active ?
- Did you choose a "Image (Media)" item from a dropdown
- Is "Ad Content (Html, Script, etc.)" empty as per "Note: If any content is added into Ad Content field, field Image (Media) is ignored."

You can take a look at the screenshots attached to see how the campaign, ad, and module should look like.
