Hi,

We are using MonoX 4.5 and now we have decided to do the localization through resource files based architecture.

The problem I am facing with this is that when I am changing the language to any language apart from English using admin panel.

The Navigation menu goes away. It is happening in the Core copy of MonoX in which we have not made any changes.

Just Downloaded, Install and execute it.

I am attaching a document of screen shots and steps I followed for your reference.

Please help as our localization implementation project is getting delayed.

Regards.

Hi,

MonoX CMS supports multiple languages and Menu WebPart has this support too, so you can define different menu structures for different languages. Please go to MonoX administration and define a menu for non default languages.

Hi,

Navigation menu is created separately for every language.

Here are the steps on how to create navigation menu for another language:
1. Click on Go to the portal administration area
2. Select Pages
3. On top of the page, select desired language for which you want to modify navigation menu
4. Click checkbox inside table for pages you want to show in navigation

You can also create new pages that will represent navigation items by right clicking on root ("/") and selecting New External Page on the left hand side of pages table, just below Site Map
