Hi

Please look at the an email pasted below, in that I have modified the test Monox to xyz in SocialNetworkingResources.resx file and LocalizationString in database but the issue is remains same.

I think somewhere in the code files it is hard coded.

Hi rrr,

ramaraor has added you as a friend on MonoX portal. We need to confirm that you know ramaraor in order for you to be friends on our Web site.

By default, invitation mail content and subject are stored in  MonoSoftware.MonoX.Resources.SocialNetworkingResources.PeopleSearch_ConfirmationMailContent and
MonoSoftware.MonoX.Resources.SocialNetworkingResources.PeopleSearch_ConfirmationMailSubject resource properties.

You can also change them without resource changes, via Web part properties - PeopleSearch and GroupPeopleSearch Web part have ConfirmationMailContent and ConfirmationMailSubject properties that you can set to your target values.

Hi,

In my application (monox), none of the webpart properties are working.

I think it’s due to script error(s) or shall I register any tags in web.config?

I think if you look at the bottom of the page (image) then, you will come to know the issue.

What happens when you click on the Properties link? Are there any errors? After clicking on Properties you should go to the admin toolbar (Click on the "Change the look and functionality of this page" at the top of the screen) and choose the "Web part properties" tab where all properties will be listed.

Hi

Thanks for your support,

The web pages refreshing some time and not navigating anywhere and the page remains the same.

Please have a look at the image attached.

In my application(Monox) I think every thing is working fine except properties of the webparts.

Due to this I’m unable to place my webparts in desired position.

i exported the properties , its like the below

<property name="ConfirmationMailContent" type="string">Hi {FriendName},
<br /><br />
{UserName} has added you as a friend on MonoX portal. We need to confirm that you know {UserName} in order for you to be friends on our Web site.<br />
{PersonalMessage}
<br /><br />
To confirm this request, please click on the following link:<br />
{ConfirmationUrl}
<br /><br />
Best regards,
<br /><br />
MonoX Team
</property>

is there any chance to import the properties?

Hi,

when you click on the Web part properties you won't be redirected anywhere but you will remain on the same page. Loading progress indicates that all Web parts properties are being initialized (some of the Web parts have large number of properties) and the first initialization can take time (e.g. 10 seconds +/-). When Web parts properties are initialized you will get access to the property editors. Please take a look at the screenshot attached.

Hi

Thanks for your immediate support,
Its working fine, I didn’t notice that, I’m thinking that I may get one popup or redirect to some properties window.
New users cannot identify that , unless they use it once :)

Its bit confused.

By default make it open it without clicking on top link web part properties tab once we click on properties on web part.

And nowhere is it showing which web part (name of the web part) I’m editing currently.
Sometimes user(s) may forget from where they came to this page.
