Hello,

So I've been able to fix the issue. The solution was to:

1. EnableSSL (set to true)
2. Use an account that grants permission to third part applications
3. For Gmail use port 587 instead of 465

Hello,

I want to find out how to authenticate new users by email. At the moment when a new user registers, their details enter the database and simultaneously I get the an error message.

Can you please provide more details: 
- Are you building a custom registration form ?
- Can you paste the error message here ?

Hello Slaven,

It's not a custom registration form.It's what was provided by MonoX.

The error message reads "The following issues have to be resolved before you can proceed: You're account has not yet been activated. Please activate it via an activation e-mail we sent you.If you didn't get the e-mail, then please try resending it by going to the Activation E-mail Recovery page. If you can't send or receive the activation e-mail, please contact us.

Hi,

please try to resend the activation email on Activation E-mail Recovery page. Also, please check the logs for the eventual errors:

~Portal\MonoX\ApplicationData\Logs

I keep getting an error and strangely I'm unable to access that particular log file
