I have a large forum with thousands of discussion topics. Naturally some posts in some discussions are being reported or marked as "spam" or "unapproved". As a moderator, how can I effectively see all posts that require approval? I can only see a way to approve posts directly from the discussion. But this is too much of an effort to scroll through all topics all the time in search of the unapproved posts. There's got to be a better way!

Hi,

as I mentioned before MonoX has a pretty simple implementation of discussion board. So at the moment discussion boards doesn't have moderation screen. There is a daily report integrated inside the discussions that will send you a list of things that needs to be handled manually where you can moderate the delete requests, spam posts etc. Daily report should be turned on by default.

Daily report should work. Who will receive this daily report? Administrator and Moderators?

The simplest way to implement moderation screen would be to take the existing discussion board control and change the data access query to return all posts (across all boards) that require attention. I just wonder if I can do it myself or I will need access to some source code that is not available without the paid subscription?

Hi,
administrators, discussion administrators and moderators will receive daily report. Regarding the board customizatiion: I'll check it and let you know if its possible to do it without source edition.
