Hi,

can you please remind me what MonoX version are you using ? This is related to View State optimization cleaning mechanism and it was fixed in one of the earlier versions so I just need to be sure which one you have ?

Thanks

4.7.40.3598 which we have skinned

should we move to latest build (hope the new UI is not yet introduced so that we won't need many changes at the moment)
also,
what's the state wil janrain rpx replacement? have you already replaced it? I was going to do rpx setup steps for fb login etc but if you replaced i'd prefer to config your new social login mechanism instead. Do you have inatructions?

Hello,

The Janrain replacement is integrated into the Nightly build. However you also have the old RPX module should you ever wish to use it instead.

Regards,
Mario

Hi,

yes new social login requires additional configuration. In order to be free of charge (for Janrain you need account and if you need high number of logins then it gets pretty expensive) you have to manually connect your application to social networks you want to use. New social login is bases on SocialAuth.Net so you can find more information here.

At the moment this isn't documented we will publish documentation as soon as we have stable version of MonoX prepared.

Let me know if you need more information.

We have just pushed the last build before the new MonoX Theme kicks in, so please use the MonoX 4.7.40.3943 for your upgrade. In this build you will have the latest version of LoginSocial WebPart.

"pushed the last build before the new MonoX Theme kicks in, so please use the MonoX 4.7.40.3943 for your upgrade" - is this still accurate, or did any more versions get published in between till the new MonoX Theme was introduced?

also, regarding logging in via say Facebook with the new system (instead of RPX), do you know if https:// is required? (that would be a problem)

Hi,

I think that we didn't push any other version with old theme.

is this still accurate, or did any more versions get published in between till the new MonoX Theme was introduced?
No it isn't we have a lot of sites using social login running without the SSL.
also, regarding logging in via say Facebook with the new system (instead of RPX), do you know if https:// is required? (that would be a problem)
Regards
