Hi all,

i want to present monoX to a group of potential "customers" ( a charity) .
monoX would be a perfect match to create a community for the local musicians in our area.

Since the decision makers are non technical people, i want to convince them not just with the features ,but mainly with a great look of the app.

question: i´m a skilled programmer, but don't have experience with themes and skins ( I do know css very well)
what would be the starting point to create a custom theme ?
what parts of the work can be outsourced to a (non-asp.net) web designer (which files) ?

yes, I did read chapter 9 in the docs. Is it just that ?

to all monoX users out there: how did you do it ?

first of all I need to change the logo and the colours, then the background images, fonts, etc.

thanks a lot !

Hi,

things that need to be changed to customize the MonoX look and feel are:

/App_Themes/Default/*.css (and images)
/App_Templates/Default/*.* (Change only the templates for WebParts that you will present to a client)
/MonoX/ModuleGallery/ - ONLY mark-up files for WebParts that you will present to a client - NOTE: You need to change mark-up files only if you want to change the layout of the WebPart

You will probably need to do that in short period of time so I'll suggest you try and use something like this.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Regards
