Although we are planning to introduce several themes for the next major release, we will try to have at least one new theme in 4.7. We will also gradually release more themes regardless of the version upgrades, you will be able to download them separately.

Yes, 4.7 should be officially released with new theme and early adopters will have the new theme shortly available within nightly builds.

You could adapt (please remove logos and change colors at least) ClipFlair opensource project's theme (can find it at http://ClipFlair.codeplex.com - see under Server/ClipFlairSocial folder [you can even see some obsolete db password in the web.config ;-) ])

That one is based on 4_7_40_3598, haven't moved it yet to build 4_7_40_3911 but should be more or less easy to move to it (at next nightly build 3943 the log speaks of new HTML5 Responsive menu [introduced at 3921 revision], so that skin will need changes, especially if you try to move it to latest build [we'll do that later])

we are building few more themes based on the MonoX 4.7 and they will be available soon, they will be published in the Gallery as they are ready to go live.
