Just click on the "Part catalog" and a new tab should appear in the toolbar - "Web part catalog". Click on it and you should see a list of more than 60 Web parts from the main catalog. Select any of them, choose the zone in which it is to be added (in the "Add to" dropdown) and finally click on the "Add" button.
