UserDisplayName has a fallback to show the UserName if there is no UserProfile in the prefetch which is happening in this particular scenario.

Hello,
you mean that for the descussion modules I cannot access the user's name - surname even if he has filled them in their profile area?

Hello,

Yes, since the UserProfile is not in the prefetch. For this you'd have to explore the other alternatives described in this thread.
