If you are sure that it's not the "blocking" issue with the archive (right click the archive before extracting and click unblock, see the attached image), then, setup a joinme meeting and send me the code and time when you are available via PM and I'll get back to you.

Hi support,

I have dot net framework 4.5 installed on my machine and windows 8 OS.

I am getting following error while running monox for first time:

Server Error in '/monox' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

Please let me know what am I missing in iis. I did created an application under default pool.

Hello,

Can you check if default pool is running under net framework 2.0 or 4.0. If it's running under 2.0 it needs to be switched to 4.0.

Logs folder is empty.

We are a software product company. I am responsible for evaluating the monox for CMS platform offering to all our customers.

Can you help me in running this software well on my laptop.

Hello,

A few questions.

Have you managed to install MonoX at all?
Have you downloaded MonoX and installed it manually or have you used Web Platform Installer?
If you've downloaded MonoX manually have you unblocked the downloaded file?
Under which identity is the App Pool running (ApplicationPoolIdentity or Network Service for example)?
Have you set folder/file permissions for the App Pool on the Upload, ApplicationData and web.config?

I am not able to install at all.

yes I have opted for manual option.

I don't fully understand the unblocked downloaded file option?

where I can check the identity of app pool running.

permission are given to all folders and files

When you download a file. It is possible that a file is blocked on your computer, you need to right click on the archive and go to properties then click on the unblock button.

To check the identity you need to go to IIS Manager and locate your app pool open advanced settings screen and check under Process Model section which identity is being used.

Have you managed to run the MonoX installation wizard at all or is this happening when you try to navigate to the website for the first time?
