I believe a solution to concerns of users that they are not sure to whom/what one replies at a long discussion thread (like the one at http://social.clipflair.net/MonoX/Pages/SocialNetworking/Discussion/dtopic/aocXqccvjUqBNaEPATwq9Q/Video/), it would be nice to have a "Quote" or "Reply"button under each post
when pressed it would fill-in the reply text editor with that post's text quoted [e.g. in a block or colored with say darkgray or other configurable color] and move focus / scroll page (e.g. using a #reply HTML anchor in the page) to it and then the user would be able to edit that quoted text, fill-in their reply before or after that text or break it in parts and comment in between (I think easier to use is colourquoting instead of blockquoting in that case) and post
