Hi,

Thank you very much for your great support. I think my solution project works fine. I tried installing MonoX with web matrix. After downloading the package and entering the database parameters (before opening the site with a browser), I copied the bin files of projects to my fresh MonoX installation. Then I visited the website and finished installation. I set Turkish as the default language and I saw that all the translations work fine.

But it is not the same with my website. I copied the files but nothing changed. If I don't remember wrong, there was an expression in a discussion topic like "restart IIS and refresh tha page".

If this is the issue, it is not possible for me. My website is working on a shared server and I think my hosting provider will not accept this request. There are already some members on my site and I don't want to remove them with a fresh installation.

Is there any solution for this? If I backup the LocalizationStrings table from my local database and upload it to my website's databes, does it work?

Note: If you will use these translations in your next release, you must make some changes. I translated some strings according to my website. E.g. I translated Monox Team as Okul-Online to adapt my website.

Thanks again for your great support.

I have installed MonoX again with the WebMatric package (because others didn't translate into Turkish). My website is now Turkish.

I have made an upgrade and the translations were turned back to English.

Hi,

denis was talking about new release in May or June and there will be new features. If you send me the language files I can make a complete Turkish translation. Please send me all files (including translated before). I think this may reduce the Turkish localization problems.

OK, will do that. Thanks! Additionally, we should try solving you issues via remote support session - it is quite difficult to see what's going on this way. In any case, the package in the Microsoft Web gallery you are referring contains an older version of MonoX, so it should definately work with the package downloaded from this site.

Hi denis,

I am using the version 4.1.2742 without problem and I will use this version until the new release. But I have a question;

Will it be possible to upgrade from 4.1.2742 version to the new version without losing data (users, groups, blogs etc.)?

If you still want to solve this problem, I may give you my ftp account via pm. It may help you to block the following problems.

Thanks for your help and I will be waiting for the resx files.

No, no, no...

I have just wanted to create a group but I couldn't. I have made a search on the forum and I saw that there was a problem about group creation with this version. I had already deleted the General category. If I upgrade to the newer version I will have to deal with the localization problem :((

Please help me, thanks...
