Hi there,

I am going through an evaluation of MonoX for a project.

I would like to have registered users submit articles through the front end of the MonoX website, sort of like http://www.articlesbase.com. Looking through the site and documentation I can not find that kind of feature. Is something like this already implemented? Are you planning to implement something like this?

Thank you,
Oliver

Hi,

MonoX does already have very nice News System but its on the back end of the admin.

It allows editors to submit articles to a publisher for approval..
There is likely a way to expose this by building your own web part on the front end and inheriting some of the backend stuff.

I am sure the MonoX team can spread more light on this subject then I can.
But I personally have found the MonoX custom news system to be one of the areas where MonoX really sticks out.

Hi Oliver,
We don't have the functionality that would work exactly that way, but as always, it could be implemented. As Shawn said, parts of the news admin modules could be used as a foundation.

Ok thank you for the response, I will look into the admin modules... Really impressive CMS/SN by the way... Is the source code is written in C#?
