Storing avatar as a jpg image (Mono Support )

Hi,

We want to store avatar as a jpg image instead of storing in a database. so what we need to do for this?

Hello Nasman,

You can override the control MonoSoftware.MonoX.ModuleGallery.UserAvatar, and implement your own functionality for saving the file to the file system in the SaveAvatar method. You would have to do the same for fetching the avatar image.

Unfortunately there is no "switch" from saving avatar to the database to the file system.
