restrict view of blog data  (Mono Support )

Is there any way to restrict view of a specific blog to only a designated role or group?

Hi Gary,

you can accomplish this by setting view roles on the blog post level. If that isn't enough then you can use the WebPart ViewRolesString (setting it programatically) or ViewRoles (setting it with the WebPart personalization) on the BlogContainer module and bound that module to specific blog.

Thanks so much for the prompt response. As you could guess, managing at the post level is far from ideal. I'll give the WebPart personalization a go.....
