Monox not showing digital groups and discussion... In depth (Closed) (Mono Support )

In depth, when clicking on some group or discussion boards, my DEMO of MONO-X, doesn't show anything but 404 error page (not found). Maybe it's because I use IIS on 8080 port? But I am supposing it must work fine. What's the problem? Please, Help!

Hi,

this is probably the issue with IIS configuration needed by the Url rewriting. Can you please tell us what IIS version are you using, and what .NET version ?

yes, i am using IIS 5.1 and net framework 4.0. I am already figured out that this is because ULR rewriting. and i am very upset because i can't use (as i think) IIS 5.1 with url rewriting. No support for XP? Very bad. Must use hosting insteed.

No, you don't need to use hosting for this kind of issue, you just need to set the wildcard mapping to ASP.NET handler in the IIS. You can take a look at the following posts describing how to set the wildcard mappings:
