I've just noticed after upgrading to 4.9 that I've lost access to some features that were available in earlier releases.
Features such as
 - the Site Wall,
 - the ability to embed html eg. YouTube, SoundCloud
 - being able to 'like' items

Can you please check my answer to you other post as it seems that these are related.

" can you please let us know if you have upgraded only runtime assemblies (bin folder) or did you upgrade your markup too ?"
