Mono Support Login failed for MonoxUser

I have tried to get this to work. I have sql 2014 installed. I am on Windows 10. I created a database in sql. I created the user MonoXUser. I gave the user a password. I gave the user priveleges. I am stuck. Not sure what else to do. I keep getting the same error. "Login failed for user 'MonoXUser'" Please Help.

Hi, mathman54

There are a few things you should check in the SQL server properties under:
1. Security - Is the "SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode" selected?
2. Connections - Is the "Allow connections to this remote server" selected?

Also, are the applications and the SQL server hosted on the same machine?
