MonoX Blog system is more straight forward so it doesn't implement a publishing scenario, if you have approval scenario (publishing) you can setup MonoX news that have this covered. MonoX Blog allows you to set the Blog manager users and they can add and publish articles without an approval. When they publish the article users can comment on the article. Posted comments are validated against the SPAM validators and if they are approved the article owner get's notified by an e-mail, if comment is not approved then administrator is notified that comment is waiting for his approval (when approved then owner is notified).

Can you verify if everyone if notified as I have described ?
