Sharepoint Web parts are not 100% compatible with MonoX Web parts, as all MonoX parts should inherit from MonoSoftware.MonoX.BasePart, and there are some differences in part registration process. However, all other concepts are nearly - or totally - identical, so if you have a source code for a Sharepoint part it should be straightforward to recompile it under MonoX.
