Hello

I am new with monox. Does it offer support for eLerning? (SCORM)
Is there an example that I can start with?

Hi,

MonoX is a content management system (CMS) so it doesn't offer the eLearning solution out of the box, although we have build a few similar solutions on top of the earlier MonoX versions. To get you started we can point you to articles that describe the basic procedures how to build custom solutions e.g. custom project, modules, etc.

Building a custom ASP.NET project based on MonoX
Building a custom Web part
How to: Extend MonoX and ASP.NET Profile

If you need further assistance let us know.

Hello

I do not like to reinvent the wheel. :). I see that you have done an ELearning project ("http://www.mono-software.com/Case-Study/Distance-Learning/").
Are those open source?
Is it possible to share some code examples?

Hi,
Yes, we did implement a few eLearning solutions, but SCORM compliance was not a requirement. Most of our other modules were used (blogs, news, article publishing, social interaction, etc). If you need to have a SCORM support in your application (quite a complex task without too much support in the ASP.NET world), you may want to check the following links:

Hello

Now I see that there is a "Source edition" that can be purchased from you.
If we buy it will we have access to the ELearning modules that you have developed?

No, these modules were developed for the older version of MonoX and are not a part of the source code package for the current version.
