I want to replace the homepage slider ...

The good thing about the slider that comes with monox is that, if anyone try to view the monox website on a mobile device (desktop version) not mobile site... the slidershow adjusts the width of the default slider based on the width of the mobile view.

When I try to change the slider with a new jquery slider from outside...the width of the slider is bigger and doesn't fit well on mobile devices...

I am trying to implement this slider: http://demo.webdeveloperplus.com/featured-content-slider/

How can I make it just like monox slider so that if anyone try to view the desktop version of the website on a mobile device, the slider width automatically adjusts according to the viewing area...just like monox slider does.

Hi,

one important thing that you must not forget is that MonoX theme and it's modules are prepared for Responsive Design so the Silder WebPart's mark-up and style is prepared for responsivness. I think that slider that you mentioned is not optimized for responsive design so it may be used in this scenario but you will hassle with this too much, maybe a better idea is to use some other slider like this one - FlexSlider, as it's already prepared for responsivness and I think you can just put it in your page and it will work.

Regards
